Whelping services

We understand that bringing new life into this world might be scary.

We are offering years of our knowledge starting from mating and ending on bringing your litter safely to this world. This offer is limited to owners and breeders of pure breed dogs only as we do not encourage cross breeding. The world is full of mixed breed dogs and we do not need to bring more in and make the shelters full of them.

We have lots of experience in whelping litters – Malinois of course since 2018 but also GSD, Afghan Hounds, Border collies, miniature pinscher etc. Different breeds have different challenges – starting from mating, through the pregnancy, diet change, behaviour change up to the birth of those little lives that will stay with you forever. We know some situations are scary, and we have experience with many of those including reviving puppies (and kittens) that were born not breathing. Some situations can be helped if you know how.

We will help with rearing pups as well if this is something you want. Please contact us for more details.

Microchipping

We are PeddyMark trained implanter and we can microchip dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets.

It is a law that the pups (and kittens now) need to be registered to original breeder before they are rehomed.

Please contact us for more information and prices.

We register your pets with Animal Tracker after they are microchipped.

Breeding mentoring

This is a new service that will be available from January 2026.

We are now part of a Kennel Club Breeder Mentoring and Canine Midwifery Programme and will be taking new breeders of various breeds under our wings to help build future responsible breeders community.

Behaviour consultations

Aneta – owner of AnkerCanis.

I have owned dogs all my life and always trained them myself. I owned many different breeds throughout my life, starting with little Chihuahua mixes, little terriers, Dachshund, Afghan Hound, Border collie etc. I helped many people train their dogs, but in no means I know everything. I made many mistakes in my life and I am sure I will make many more. Each dog teaches me something different and my training methods changed in time.

I often got asked questions – are two dogs the same? My answer is – No. Every dog is an individual and many things is shaping the way they are, often before they are even born.

Are two dogs the same breed the same? The answer is still – No. I own Belgian Malinois since 2016. I breed since 2018, and I haven’t met two dogs that are the same. They have very similar needs but are not the same.

The dog I purchased in 2023 taught me a lot. She was not well socialised as a pup and extremely reactive. My normal training methods did not work, I was going nowhere with her. And at some point I wanted to give up. But I was still pushing forward. This is why I decided to learn more and signed myself for Level 4 Advanced Dog Behaviourist course which I now completed. I can now offer my services as fully qualified Dog Behaviourist and a Trainer.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me through the page.
