Pups are getting the best start they can with us.

ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) and ESI (Early Scent Introduction) are methods of stimulating the nervous systems of the puppies during the early stages of their development – from birth until they start their independence.

  1. 01

    Early Neurological Stimulation

In our experience this stimulation best works between day 3 and 14.

  2. 02

    Early Scent Introduction

ESI - Early Scent Introduction is a concept developed by Dr Gayle Watkins, a Golden Retriever breeder, scientist, researcher and competitor in a range of dog sports.

  3. 03

    Socialisation

We socialise our puppies from the day one with as many different environments and people as we can and that includes: travel in a car, grooming and baths, household noises, de-sensitisation to fireworks and loud noises and many more.

Ivy playing in the field

A short walk twice a day just won’t suffice this breed. They need mental stimulation, sometimes a job to do or an active lifestyle.

Malinois are the best family dog if they have enough mental and physical stimulation on a daily basis. They love their people and want to please them.

I cannot recommend Aneta & Colin highly enough! From the start, they demonstrated a level of dedication that truly goes above and beyond the standard. I was especially impressed with their commitment to health and transparency. They performed extensive health checks and genetic screenings on their breeding dogs long before the litter was even conceived. This meticulous planning gave me peace of mind and it speaks volumes about their commitment to the future health of the breed.

My Belgian Malinois Enzo (Ankercanis Alonso) is 7 years old now and they still keep in touch meet up. He’s healthy, confident, and well-socialized—a true testament to the fantastic early environment they provided.

If you’re looking for knowledgeable breeders who treats their dogs like family and prioritizes health above all else, Ankercanis is the place for you!

Hi . We are the owners of Bilbo from B litter. Amazing temperament and has been great with the family for the last 6 years, we wouldn’t be without him. Travels everywhere with us, been all over the country. We had a lot of advice over diet when we had him and maintained him on a raw diet which he’s always been happy with and gone from strength to strength. Lots of great advice available from the Ankercanis team.

We are the owners of AnkerCanis Floyd’s Fighter (Fred), 10 months old now. When I contacted Aneta, I was trying to find the best example of the breed, I spent a lot of time looking for the best breeder of the Malinois, I needed a dog that would suit my needs, as I am a dog trainer, I needed a dog that could do it all, could be calm around other dogs, and have great interactions and support my other dogs. Fred has been a great addition, helping me with all kinds of training, from socialisation with young dogs, working in dog classes, working with dogs fear aggression, he has helped people to understand that Mals aren’t aggressive towards people (Mals aren’t GSD lol) if well socialised, and he’s not a police dog or soldier you can’t approach. He could be a handful for some owners, who were keen on the breed, when they first saw him in class, now they have decided against getting a Mal, he has started his sheep dog training. Aneta will help you and support you with advice, and will keep in contact, she has been really amazing, she is a great Mal breeder, and takes the time to match the dog to your family, you might have to wait a bit, to get the right dog.
